An origin, creation, or beginning, the term "genesis" signifies the spark of excitement. It represents the transformation of a vision, a journey, or a transition.

Genesis was also the name of the yacht my father constructed, which he sailed across the globe and used to take my family to Australia.  While aboard Genesis, my mother purchased shell necklaces from villagers who called the tropical Pacific islands home, including a Puka shell necklace.

This particular necklace served as the genesis of this collection, the inspiration.
